I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. My father is from Puebla, and my mother is from Acapulco, Mexico. Growing up, I experienced the beauty of the coast and the mountains. In honor of my beloved late grandfather, I wanted to include my body of work in the Nahuatl language he knew and spoke.
